I used to have a web site a few years ago, soon after the site was established,
I went abroad to study. Around 2 years ago, the host ISP was involved a joint
venture event and then the new owner of the ISP rose the price of hosting my web.
I could not accept and afford the new "sky high" price, therefore, I just let
the site down.
Since the data of the site was recoreded in a CD disk and luckly, the ISP I am
useing now offerss a free 30 MB web space for their clints, for that reason, I
decided to rebuild a web site from the data I recorded but only about scale modelling.
I wish it could save me some time of maintainess.
Beside, I used to live in the U.K. before I setup this site, I found that western modelling
skill is slightly different to the way we used to do here in Taiwan. For example, modellers in Taiwan
think that engraceing panel lines when building models is very important, however, this point does not
appear in the U.K. I suppose British or western modellers prefer to perform their models by emphasize on details and painting. Further more,
an English written scale modelling website is easy to find through any serch engine, but normally that is written by western modellers
and shows the commom concept of western modelling. Therefore, I make up my mind to introduce a
different style of model-building skill to all modellers in an international language. However,
it is not a bad idea to have a different modelling style for reference. Is it??
Bsically, the site (The Plastic Work) contents the following sections:
Tools: This section contents descriptions and photos of basic modelling tools.
Constructions and reviews: Review and building procedure of kits based on my experiences.
Tips: Tips of easy building.
Features: A series of model building related features are published here.
Links: Scale Modelling related Web site links.
Site operator:Yes, this page is all about me.
I apologize for my poor English, I wish I did not make too many mistakes. If you think there is a mistake,
please do not hesitate to sand me an email. I would be grateful if you could do this.
